Sgt. Perry R.”Cock” Kelly sitting turret and sitting on barrel is the “Peg Leg” freedom fighter, Andre. Andre’s parents were killed by the Germans, the story goes. He was said to be a fearless fighter with the 743rd Tank Battalion, Co. A. They tried to get him attached to the unit but Uncle Sam said NO. Location and date unknown.
