USNR Ensign L. D. Houser’s 1940’s US Navy flight jacket, cloth helmet, M-1944 goggles, leather name tag, WW2 ribbon bar, silk fliers scarf and Composition Squadron 66 patch. L.D. Houser enlisted in the US Navy in 1943 served first as a air crew gunner on a torpedo diver plane, and later as a commissioned offer and TBD pilot.
